Georgia | Christmas Get Together

Who wants to sit by a cozy fire, listen to Christmas music, sip hot cocoa/apple cider and make festive garland? Well now is your chance to do just that!

Join your Fort Benning MW Ambassador for a day of Christmas crafts in Georgia's own FDR State Park, located 45 minutes North of Fort Benning in Pine Mountain. We will be meeting at a picnic pavilion in FDR State Park. The pavilion address is: 3676 GA-354, Pine Mountain, GA 31822

About the event: We will be creating our own Christmas garland out of assorted citrus, herbs and foraged greenery. Feel free to bring any extra decorations if you'd like to add more to your garland. Hot cocoa, apple cider and a small assortment of treats will be served at this event. If you have any allergies, please feel free to bring your own.

You MUST purchase your ticket here in order to RSVP for this event.

Earlybird tickets are $10 per person until December 5th, then $15 per person.

This is an open event for all: kids, spouses and even leashed dogs are allowed to join!

Notes of Caution: As a good rule of thumb - do not leave valuables in your vehicle. You are responsible for you/your child’s safety. We’re happy to plan and facilitate group hikes/events, but Military Wild is not responsible for the safety of participants during our outings. It is strongly recommended that you consider putting together your own first aid kit for hiking and all outdoor adventures.
