Beginner Fishing Class with Five Rivers MetroParks

Learn to fish with Five Rivers MetroPark! This program will teach participants fishing basics through

education stations and hands-on activities. All fishing gear will be provided by Five Rivers MetroParks.

No special gear is required. Additional details will be provided once you are confirmed for the event.

Capacity: 15 participants max (others can attend to watch but we can only have 15 total fishing)

Open to adults and kids (waivers will be required for anyone participating)

This event is free of charge as paid for by MW Ohio fundraising in 2022. If you sign up you are expected to

attend or drop NLT March 31 so we can move people off the waitlist and into the course. Confirmations

will be sent out and if no reply is received you will be dropped from the program. No shows on the day

of the event will prevent others from attending – DO NOT be that person. A waitlist will be available to

ensure we fill all 15 participant slots.

Class is rain or shine and dressing for the weather will be important. It can be rainy in Spring so

shoes/boots and clothing that can get dirty will be the best option for this event.

All participants will be required to print out and sign a waiver to participate. Once you are confirmed for

the class, the waiver along with directions and additional information will be provided.
