I was born and raised in rural PA (aka Pennsyltucky) where I spent most of my childhood barefoot - running through fields, creek stomping, and climbing trees. As I grew older my outdoor interests expanded to hiking, hunting, fishing, trail running, white water rafting, and of course tailgating at THE Pennsylvania State University.

While at Penn State I studied Energy Business and Finance and also met my now husband who was a gymnast at the Naval Academy at the time #tindergamestrong. In my junior year I discovered my passion for boxing and ended up graduating as a two time All American in 2017.

Since then, I've been following my submariner husband all around the world, from State College, PA to Charleston, SC to Groton, CT to San Diego, CA and finally to the tropical paradise of Guam. My love of the outdoors has stayed with me wherever I go and I've found that exploring the natural world around me has made every new place feel like home.

I can't wait to see where this military life takes us next! If you need me, I'll be outside...
